Day 7 of Janet Judson's Challenge

"Floral"

I transferred the pink flowers from another finished painting by applying Gin to the back of the watercolor and pressing onto a new sheet.  I think I learned this from a book by Karlyn Holman.  It sat, taped to a board for over a year.  I thin used one of my home made stamps to apply the yellow-orange flower and blue-green stems here and there.  I like that it is unusual and sort of interesting.

The beaded Bird is a gift from my friend and fellow artist, Sharron Heenan.  

The jar contains Easter colors Corn Candy.  

Framing with glass made it very heavy.  It fell and broke, so next time will use Plexiglass.  Or, a bigger nail from which to hang a painting!
